SmartCo Consulting is one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology consultancies. We are looking for a GenAI Engineer, who is passionate about leveraging AI to solve real-world business problems. We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that drive measurable business impact for one of our Financial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI models using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Integrate AI models into existing business systems for seamless operation.
- Test, validate, and optimize AI models for accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and refine AI solutions based on feedback and new data.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in AI solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and AI system design.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms like OpenAI API, Azure AI, Foundry, Databricks, and LangGraph.
- Proficiency in Python and experience deploying AI models into production.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Familiarity with ethical AI practices and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
