We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Architect / Lead to take ownership of our Snowflake data platform within an insurance-focused environment. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and strong stakeholder skills. You will act as the primary point of contact for Snowflake, building strong working relationships and helping shape the overall Snowflake strategy and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimisation of Snowflake data solutions
- Own the Snowflake platform and act as the SPOC for Snowflake-related initiatives
- Design and implement Data Vault data models
- Ensure data architecture aligns with insurance domain requirements and regulatory standards
- Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and guidance across the data function
Required Experience
- Around 15 years’ experience in data engineering / data architecture roles
- Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Proven experience implementing Data Vault methodologies
- Mandatory experience within the insurance domain
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
