Urgent Hiring: Platform Engineer – Glasgow (Contract)
Contract Type: Inside IR35
- Implement OPA policies (Rego) for gateway-level authorization
- Manage GitOps deployments via ArgoCD and Helm in multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
- Automate WAF/CDN configurations (Akamai, Cloudflare) using WAF-as-code approaches
- Promote best practices in engineering, testing, and observability-first design
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Advanced Go programming (concurrency, gRPC, Kubernetes client-go)
- Strong understanding of networking (L3–L7) and distributed systems
- Exposure to PostgreSQL, Kafka, CDN/WAF platforms, DNS steering, TLS lifecycle
- Experience with TypeScript/React (dashboard development)
- AWS services (EKS, MSK, Lambda, Network Firewall)
