Consultant DBA Oracle

Location: London (2 days per week onsite) Duration: 6 months Industry/Domain: Financial Services Eligibility: ~ SC clearance (active or lapsed) is required. Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Consultant/Engineer to join a leading financial institution in London for a 6-month project. This role involves collaborating closely with finance SMEs and the technical teams to implement and support Oracle EPM Cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Finance SMEs to define EPM requirements and work with systems integrators to create technical specifications. Advise on the feasibility of technical designs, highlighting gaps and opportunities for improvement. Act as the technical expert for Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning, Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting modules. Lead workshops and training sessions on best practices, functionalities, and capabilities of Oracle EPM Cloud. Support data integration efforts, ensuring data accuracy between Oracle EPM Cloud and other Bank systems. Assist with the migration of existing EPM solutions to the Oracle EPM Cloud platform. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with Oracle Support. Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business requirements. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the Bank’s EPM processes and performance. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oracle EPM consultant with hands-on experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud. Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including Planning, Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting. Experience in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting processes. Exposure to EPM Data Integration, Data Management, and Business Rules. Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Desirable: Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Knowledge of other financial systems or ERP platforms. Relevant Oracle EPM Cloud certifications.
