Job Title: CIAM Consultant / Architect
Contract Duration: 3-month rolling contract

We are seeking an experienced CIAM Consultant/Architect to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of customer identity and access management (CIAM) solutions. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in CIAM platforms and a proven ability to balance security, compliance, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- CIAM Strategy & Architecture: Define and drive the CIAM roadmap aligned with business and customer experience goals. Architect scalable solutions for e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and third-party services.
- Implementation & Integration: Lead end-to-end CIAM implementations using platforms such as Auth0, ForgeRock, Okta, or Ping Identity. Partner with engineering, product, and UX teams to integrate CIAM into customer journeys.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and other standards. Implement MFA, consent management, and secure session handling.
- Customer Experience Optimization: Deliver frictionless login, registration, and identity federation across channels. Use CIAM analytics to enhance personalization and reduce abandonment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as SME for CIAM across cross-functional teams (marketing, legal, customer support). Provide training and documentation on best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM), with 3+ years focused on CIAM.
- Proven success delivering CIAM solutions in retail or e-commerce.
- Expertise in OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, SCIM, and identity federation.
- Experience with CDPs and privacy management tools.
- Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, API security, and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- CIAM/IAM certifications (e.g., ForgeRock, Okta).
- Experience with AI-driven identity analytics and behavioral biometrics.
- Familiarity with headless commerce and composable architectures.
