Responsibilities: As a Deputy Manager, you’ll be part of the management team that sets the tone for delivering the highest standards of care in compliance with the NMC code of conduct. You’ll be up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality. Ideal Candidate: · Registered nurse RGN or RMN with excellent clinical skills and a valid NMC pin. · Currently working as a Senior Nurse/Unit Manager or Deputy Manager/Clinical Level with experience of working within a Care Home. · NVQ Level 5 is desirable, but not essential. · Good manager – confident in leading a team and helping them make the most of every day. · Multi-skilled – you’ll be involved in everything from planning to training, marketing to financial reporting. · Good listener – understanding what matters to your residents, their families, and your team. · Good learner – taking on the challenges of training your team and yourself. · Ambitious – you want the best for your home and the best for your people.
