I am currently working with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Wrexham, who operate an MHRA-approved sterile injectable facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacovigilance professional to further develop their career within a well-established pharmaceutical business.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct all aspects of signal management, from detection through to assessment.
- Chair product safety signalling meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate complex and conflicting drug safety data to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with current pharmacovigilance legislation and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and quality in safety processes.
- Provide input into continuous improvement activities across safety systems and documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
- Strong background in pharmacovigilance, with specific expertise in signal management.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation and its application.
- Broad understanding of medical terminology and disease pathology.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities.
