I am currently working with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Wrexham, who operate an MHRA-approved sterile injectable facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacovigilance professional to further develop their career within a well-established pharmaceutical business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct all aspects of signal management, from detection through to assessment.
  • Chair product safety signalling meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate complex and conflicting drug safety data to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with current pharmacovigilance legislation and internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain consistency and quality in safety processes.
  • Provide input into continuous improvement activities across safety systems and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
  • Strong background in pharmacovigilance, with specific expertise in signal management.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation and its application.
  • Broad understanding of medical terminology and disease pathology.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and communication abilities.
