Our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Administrator to join their team in Widnes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong customer service and order processing skills to play a key role in supporting customer accounts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth flow of products through the supply chain.
The Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery, working closely with customers, hauliers, internal quality teams, and other departments to ensure exceptional service levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Creating and managing sales orders using company systems.
- Coordinating transport and liaising with third-party hauliers to arrange deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer service and acting as a key point of contact for customer enquiries.
- Working closely with Quality Assurance teams regarding product and batch releases.
- Checking and approving transport invoices for payment.
- Managing customer account forecasts and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring product shelf life and reporting any issues to management and QA teams.
- Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous experience within a Sales Administration, Customer Service, Order Processing, or Supply Chain support role.
