Are you a motivated HPLC Analyst professional looking to grow your analytical skills in a GMP‐regulated environment? Smart4Sciences is supporting a well‐established manufacturer of veterinary medicines and companion‐animal healthcare products. The company is seeking an HPLC Analyst to join their Quality Control team and support analytical testing within a busy pharmaceutical‐style environment. This role offers excellent hands‐on exposure to both routine QC and method‐development activities.

The Role

As an HPLC Analyst, you'll support routine laboratory testing and analytical activities focused on veterinary pharmaceutical products. Working closely with the QC Laboratory Team Leader, you will carry out testing, support method development and validation, maintain documentation and ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs and GLP expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine sampling, sample preparation and QC testing of raw materials, active ingredients, preservatives and finished products.
  • Follow SOPs, GMP and GLP standards to ensure accurate testing and documentation.
  • Maintain analytical standards, lab consumables and audit‐ready laboratory records.
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot HPLC systems; assist with equipment qualification.
  • Prepare and verify Test Reports and Certificates of Analysis.
  • Support method development, method transfer and validation tasks.
  • Assist with stock release, external laboratory testing and complaint investigations.
  • Work closely with production teams to support in‐process QC checks and batch calculations.

About You

  • Experience in a QC laboratory environment
  • Strong hands‐on experience using HPLC
  • Familiarity with GMP and GLP in a regulated setting
  • Strong communicator with good organisation and prioritisation skills

Qualifications:

  • A‐Level Chemistry (minimum) OR a Diploma/BSc in Chemistry, Analytical Science, Medical Lab Science or related field
