Smart4Sciences is recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QC professional to lead a Quality Control team responsible for ensuring the testing, release, and compliance of pharmaceutical products within a highly regulated GMP environment.
The Role
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control team
- Oversee routine QC testing and product release activities
- Review analytical data, laboratory investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
- Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and company quality standards
- Manage analytical method validation, transfer, and continuous improvement activities
- Support audits and maintain inspection readiness
- Prepare and review QC documentation, SOPs, and laboratory records
- Drive a culture of quality, safety, and operational excellence
The Candidate
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline
- Proven experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical QC environment
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience within Quality Control
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and related laboratory instrumentation
- Excellent understanding of GMP, investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
- Strong communication, organisation, and people management skills
