My client, a Tier 1 contractor, is seeking a Site Engineer with structures experience who is looking for a paperwork and supervision-focused role, supporting the delivery of complex reinforced concrete structures on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects.

The Role

  • You’ll be working closely with Section Engineers and Agents, taking ownership of paperwork and quality documentation while supporting site operations.
  • Assisting with QA documentation and maintaining accurate site records.
  • Reviewing drawings and ensuring works are built to specification.
  • Preparing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Collating as-built surveys and handover documentation.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve queries.
  • Supporting the delivery of RC structures and other structural elements.

About You

  • To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience as a Site Engineer working on structures (RC frames, bridges, retaining walls, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of QA processes and paperwork management.
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Experience working with Tier 1 main contractors on major infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Valid CSCS card and right to work in the UK.
