Maintenance Technician

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician wanted – keep our client's plant running at peak performance!

Are you a hands-on problem solver with mechanical and electrical know-how? We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's team and play a vital role in ensuring the safe continuous production of their chemical processing plant.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you'll swiftly respond to any equipment failures and implement an effective preventative maintenance programme.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance of process plant equipment including: steam boilers and pumps to gearboxes, agitators, and electrical systems
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out timely repairs
• Installing valves, pressure relief systems, and chemical plant equipment
• Conducting general building and electrical maintenance
• Supporting planned shutdowns and maintaining accurate documentation
• Ensuring safe working practices and reporting incidents as required

You should have experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance in a processing plant environment, plus be apprentice qualified and have a relevant electrical qualification. Experience of working on a COMAH site / ATEX environment would be advantageous.
