The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious chemist to join the R&D function. Working closely with experienced scientists and engineers, you will contribute to the development of novel polymer and composite materials, supporting both laboratory-scale trials and applied industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the formulation, testing, and characterisation of polymer and composite materials.
Support innovation projects with a focus on packaging sustainability and aerospace applications.
Conduct laboratory experiments, interpret results, and contribute to technical reporting.
Collaborate with senior scientists on scaling up promising formulations from lab to pilot production.
Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Candidate Profile
Degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related field.
Knowledge or experience with polymers and composites (industrial or academic).

Full driving licence and access to a car (essential due to site location).
