I am currently working with a leading Fragrance Manufacturing organisation based in Brixworth, they are currently looking for a Global Consumables Manager to come in and lead a team of 2 purchasing officers. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in FMCG to progress their career.

Key responsibilities for the Global Consumables Manager:

  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract reviews for consumables.
  • Work with Group Marketing to source, negotiate and purchase those items defined by Group Marketing to achieve best price/best quality.
  • Negotiate existing and new contracts for the group, this can include utilities such as gas and electricity in the UK.
  • Attend global meetings once a quarter and communicate with new suppliers and customers.
  • Create purchasing reports for monthly spends, savings and reflection for improvement.

Requirements for the Global Consumables Manager:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing sector, focusing on consumables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
