An established manufacturer supplying products to both residential and commercial markets is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop its quality and compliance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with a strong background in FMCG manufacturing, ideally within the chemical, cleaning products, household or related sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining technical compliance, driving continuous improvement, supporting audits, and ensuring the highest quality standards are achieved across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical contact for quality and compliance matters.
- Lead and support external audits while planning and conducting internal audits.
- Coordinate and manage customer audits, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Oversee customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Audit and improve systems against GMP and ISO standards.
- Manage incoming raw materials and components, ensuring suitability before production use.
- Conduct supplier reviews and assessments to ensure quality, consistency and ethical sourcing standards are maintained.
- Review and maintain technical procedures, policies and SOPs.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up to date and available on relevant customer and regulatory portals.
- Manage customer and compliance portals, ensuring timely updates and responses.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support additional quality and technical projects as required.
