We are supporting a growing engineering and infrastructure business as they continue expanding their operations and capability across traditional industrial markets alongside wider energy and renewable sectors. As part of this continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Technical Recruitment Specialist to support the delivery of skilled engineering and technical personnel across a range of operational and project environments. This is not a traditional KPI-heavy sales recruitment role. Instead, the position is focused on building strong technical talent pipelines, directly sourcing engineering and technical personnel, supporting project mobilisation, and working closely with operational teams to ensure high-quality delivery across the business. The role would suit someone who enjoys technical recruitment and candidate engagement, understands engineering environments, and prefers working closely with operational delivery teams rather than purely sales-driven recruitment models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment for technical and engineering positions across permanent and contract hiring
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across engineering, technical and operational disciplines
  • Source candidates directly through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, job boards and industry channels
  • Screen and assess candidates against technical, operational and project requirements
  • Coordinate interviews, onboarding and mobilisation activities
  • Work closely with operational leadership and project teams to support workforce planning and hiring priorities
  • Support recruitment campaigns linked to business growth, project mobilisation and expansion into wider energy and infrastructure sectors
  • Maintain strong candidate relationships and provide an excellent recruitment experience throughout the process
  • Support market mapping, talent intelligence and salary/rate benchmarking activities

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience recruiting within engineering, technical, infrastructure, industrial or operational environments
  • Strong direct sourcing and candidate engagement capability
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment pipelines simultaneously
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional and credible communication style
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project-driven recruitment environments
  • Experience within engineering services, energy, infrastructure, utilities, offshore or construction sectors would be advantageous

Why Join?

  • Opportunity to join a growing and evolving engineering business
  • Exposure to a broad range of technical and infrastructure projects
  • Expanding presence across wider energy and renewable sectors
  • Long-term career growth potential
  • Collaborative and operationally focused environment
  • Salary, commission and benefits package
