Smart4 Energy is supporting a well-established and growing engineering services business specialising in electrical, industrial and hazardous area solutions across the energy and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth across their Engineering Services division, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of projects across England. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who enjoys a varied role combining technical engineering, project delivery and client interaction within a fast-paced engineering environment.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of electrical engineering projects across multiple client sites and sectors. Projects will vary across industrial, utilities, energy and infrastructure environments and will involve close coordination with clients, engineering teams and operational personnel.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing electrical engineering projects from planning through to completion
  • Coordinating technical and operational project activities
  • Supporting client relationships and project communication
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
  • Supporting commercial and reporting activities throughout delivery
  • Working closely with engineering and operational teams across multiple locations

About You

Candidates should ideally have:

  • Experience within electrical engineering project delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of industrial or HV electrical services
  • Previous experience managing projects within energy, utilities or industrial sectors
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
