Are you a skilled chemist with a strong background in polymers and a passion for technical innovation? Our client, a leading manufacturer of polymer products, is looking for a skilled chemist and team leader to join them and oversee their technical operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be responsible for developing new products and preparing them to take to market. As part of this you will be expected to:
- Oversee new product development and research into improving existing product lines.
- Liaise with other departments to take new products from the lab to full manufacturing scale.
- Ensure all deadlines are kept to in the technical department.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Degree educated in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience within the polymer industry (3-5 years minimum).
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams of people in the technical department.
Desirable
- Understanding of coatings or construction materials.
