An established global manufacturer operating within advanced materials and high-performance engineering is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support its materials and engineered product lines across multiple sites. This role is critical in shaping short- and long-term supply chain strategy, driving analytical capability, and ensuring strong customer service performance across a complex manufacturing network.

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning and optimisation, working closely with commercial, operational and site leadership teams to ensure alignment of supply and demand.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leading short- to long-range supply chain planning to ensure effective resourcing of materials, facilities, WIP and finished goods.
  • Developing and implementing analytical tools to improve inventory modelling and inter-company material flows.
  • Collaborating with site materials teams and senior supply chain leadership to define replenishment strategies across raw materials, intermediates and finished goods.
  • Driving on-time despatch performance above 95% through proactive supply chain management.
  • Supporting the rollout of common quality management systems aligned to group best practice and customer certification requirements.
  • Using data-driven insight to lead improvement projects that support efficiency, scalability and long-term growth.
  • Owning and actively contributing to the S&OP process to ensure full alignment across the extended supply chain.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified in Business, Engineering or Finance.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience handling and interpreting large data sets.
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems.
  • Management experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with close exposure to operations or production teams.
  • Familiarity with industry quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and deliver improvement projects.
  • APICS certification or equivalent is desirable.
