Are you an experienced chemist with a strong background in polymer synthesis and leading product development? Our client is looking for a Senior Chemist to join their team in developing new and innovative resins for usage in their products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate and execute R&D projects, taking responsibility for both the technical and operational delivery.
- Support products as they go from lab scale through to commercialisation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute technical expertise to development projects.
- Develop a strong understanding of the product market to ensure the latest technology is implemented into product lines.
What You’ll Bring
- Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline (PhD is strongly preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in polymer synthesis, polyester experience is preferred.
- Experience leading technical projects and teams.
- A good understanding of the Coatings and Adhesives markets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel both regionally and internationally for projects.
