Are you an experienced chemist with a strong background in polymer synthesis and leading product development? Our client is looking for a Senior Chemist to join their team in developing new and innovative resins for usage in their products.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and execute R&D projects, taking responsibility for both the technical and operational delivery.
  • Support products as they go from lab scale through to commercialisation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute technical expertise to development projects.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the product market to ensure the latest technology is implemented into product lines.

What You’ll Bring

  • Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline (PhD is strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in polymer synthesis, polyester experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading technical projects and teams.
  • A good understanding of the Coatings and Adhesives markets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel both regionally and internationally for projects.
