Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for relationship management and a passion for credit control? We're looking for a Credit Controller to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in managing customer debt portfolios. As a Credit Controller, you will be the first point of contact for debtor communications, helping to ensure timely payments and maintain positive relationships. Your focus will be on overseeing a client portfolio, verifying invoices, and managing risk, all while supporting excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure prompt payment of purchased debts.
- Liaise with debtors to confirm invoice validity and agree payment timelines.
- Post transactions and maintain accurate client ledgers.
- Use a range of tools to monitor portfolio risk and performance.
- Provide copy invoices and resolve disputes to facilitate payment.
- Communicate with clients and debtors via email, phone, and post.
- Attend monthly portfolio reviews and team meetings.
- Support colleagues across departments as needed.
