We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Executive to join a busy and supportive team based in Luton. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent service to customers. This role will involve managing customer enquiries, processing orders accurately, and working closely with internal departments to ensure customers receive a seamless service.
Responsibilities
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Processing customer orders accurately within internal systems
- Providing pricing information and applying discounts where appropriate
- Handling customer queries and resolving complaints professionally
- Liaising with internal departments such as transport, finance, production, R&D and warranty teams
- Ensuring customer requests are managed efficiently and within agreed timeframes
- Checking and releasing orders within the order archive system
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Daily Activity Targets
- Processing approximately 15 orders per day
- Handling 10+ customer calls daily
- Responding to customer queries within agreed service levels
- Ensuring order archives are reviewed and released within 24 hours
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous customer service experience, ideally within an office or order processing environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage difficult conversations with customers when required
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
