Purpose of the role:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for supporting core financial processes, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month-end where possible.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly reporting activities across multiple accounts and currencies.
- Maintain sales and purchase ledgers, including invoicing, intercompany recharges, and reconciliations.
- Oversee bank controls, supplier payments, expenses, and credit card reconciliations.
- Validate purchase invoices, monitor exceptions, and support strong financial controls.
- Support month-end processes, including the calculation and posting of accruals and prepayments.
Experience:
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be highly beneficial.
Skills and Attributes:
- Part-qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and spot discrepancies quickly.
