Location: Hinxworth, Hertfordshire

Salary: Β£30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 17.30

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-focused Compliance Coordinator to support the Technical Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Quality Assurance department. This is a varied role focused on product compliance, supplier management, testing, packaging and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and keen to identify improvements and develop processes. Strong attention to detail and good general office skills, particularly Excel, are essential. Experience within quality control, regulatory, compliance or project coordination would be beneficial, although industry experience is not essential. SAP experience would also be advantageous but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support product compliance and ensure products meet relevant UK and EU regulations.
  • Maintain technical files, compliance records, test reports and product documentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and overseas teams to obtain required compliance information.
  • Coordinate product testing, quality inspections and follow-up actions.
  • Review packaging, artwork, labels and manuals for compliance requirements.
  • Support EPR, Plastic Packaging Tax, WEEE and battery compliance activities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and assist with supplier onboarding and compliance assessments.
  • Support audits, retailer compliance reviews and investigations into product issues.
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects and help develop internal processes.
  • Support company exhibitions and showroom activities when required.
  • Complete any other reasonable duties requested by the Manager or Director.

About You

  • Previous experience in technical administration, quality control, compliance, regulatory or a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and general office systems.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proactive and tenacious, with a willingness to make improvements.
  • Some project management experience would be beneficial.
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where dogs are present.
