Smart Works Greater Manchester - Vinted Volunteer
About Smart Works Greater Manchester
Smart Works Greater Manchester is dedicated to empowering unemployed women to succeed in the workplace.
We provide each woman we support with high-quality interview clothing and one-to-one interview coaching, helping her feel confident, prepared and ready to take her next step into employment.
About the opportunity
Smart Works centres sell clothing to raise vital funds for the charity. We are incredibly lucky to receive generous donations from members of the public, corporate organisations and retail partners including Aligne, Sosandar, Whistles, 4th & Reckless and many more.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Vinted Volunteer to take ownership of our Smart Works GM Vinted page and help turn donated fashion into much needed fundraising income.
The time commitment is between Monday–Friday, minimum 2 days per month with flexibility around which day works best for you.
Tasks would include:
- Photographing and listing suitable items on the Smart Works GM Vinted page, creating appealing and accurate listings.
- Identify and highlight any faults, imperfections, standout features or unique selling points.
- Managing the Vinted inbox, help respond to messages and accepting or declining offers.
- Packaging and posting sold items at local drop-off points, ensuring a smooth experience for buyers.
- Organising our ‘Vinted corner’ within the stock room, making sure listed items are clearly organised and easy to find when they sell.
- Helping us identify opportunities to maximise the value of donated clothing and generate even more funds for our mission (ie trends/events/ what’s in demand on Vinted).
Do you have…
- An interest in fashion, brands, trends and styling.
- Experience or confidence with selling online, particularly through Vinted.
- Excellent attention to detail and an organised approach.
- A genuine passion for the Smart Works mission
You don’t need to be a Vinted expert, what matters most is your enthusiasm, reliability and willingness to get involved.
