We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Support Workers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in a welcoming residential home that supports adults with autism.

About the Role:

You’ll be working as part of a supportive team, providing person-centered care and assisting with daily living, promoting independence, and engaging residents in meaningful activities. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
  • Supporting adults during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
  • Promoting independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
  • Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships;
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs;
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team;
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes;
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts;

Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.

Must have:

  • One year\’s experience in the Care Sector
  • Social Care Wales Registration
  • UK Driving License and Vehicle
