Smart Teachers is looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join our trainee teaching assistant SEN programme. This programme is for people wanting to start a career in education, wirh a specific interest in the SEN division, with no previous experience needed. All the training necessary is provided and free of charge! About the role The programme is comprised of a paid placement in a school and online training. You will be assigned a consultant to support you through the training and to answer any questions you might have. Successful completion of the programme is likely to lead to long term employment Once completed you will be qualified as a teaching assistant and will be able to work in primary schools across London with Smart Teachers About the school Placement schools located across South London Schools have good transport links and many schools have parking available Schools may provide additional training for successful candidates Requirements To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant – September you will: Two recent references Be willing to complete online training Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one Smart Teachers is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
