A welcoming and community-focused Church of England primary school in West Drayton is seeking an enthusiastic and committed SENDCo to join its leadership team on a permanent, part-time basis (3 days per week) from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEND professional or aspiring leader looking to further develop their leadership skills within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

The Role

  • Lead and enhance provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities across the school, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, staff, families, and external agencies to shape the school's inclusive practice and drive positive outcomes for SEND pupils.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • SENDCo qualification, or willingness to undertake the qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice.
  • Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for SEND pupils.
