Smart Teachers are working in partnership with an Ofsted rated "Outstanding" Primary SEMH School and are seeking a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH provision in Northolt, West London. The school supports children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), with a strong focus on helping pupils manage their social, emotional and behavioural needs alongside their academic development.

Your role will include:
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support across the primary age range
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Supporting children’s academic progress alongside their emotional and personal growth
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver a holistic approach
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH and/or SEND (desirable but not essential)
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable nature
  • A genuine commitment to helping children thrive both inside and outside the classroom
  • Availability for full-time work (Monday–Friday, 8:15am–4:00pm)
