The school is a specialist all-through SEND school based in SL6, Maidenhead, Berkshire. The school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with a wide range of needs, including moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties, sensory processing challenges and speech, language and communication needs, including autism spectrum conditions.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work within a small class of up to eight students, supporting pupils with varying abilities and individual needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for a patient, enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a genuine difference every day. You will be joining a supportive and nurturing school community where every achievement, no matter how small, is recognised and celebrated.

The role involves working closely with students to help them build confidence, independence and essential life skills within a safe and inclusive learning environment. The school is a mixed-gender all-through for children between the ages of 4-19. All pupils receive highly personalised teaching and specialist support tailored to their individual needs. Alongside academic learning, the school places a strong emphasis on social, emotional and life-skills development, with a clear focus on preparing students for adulthood.
