The Role As a Drama Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to KS3 students. Create an inclusive learning environment where all students can develop their creativity and performance skills. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners. Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Establish high expectations for behaviour, participation and achievement. Contribute to the wider life of the department through extracurricular activities, performances and school productions where appropriate. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and share best practice. The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Have experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting. Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge. Be passionate about inspiring young people through the performing arts. Have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
