This is an excellent opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with teaching staff and the SEND team to help pupils reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
About the role:
- Providing targeted support to students with additional needs, including SEN, EAL or those requiring academic intervention.
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
- Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery, differentiation and classroom management.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence in learning.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, the SEND department and pastoral teams.
- Supporting students' social, emotional and academic development in line with school expectations.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred).
- A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check / Have a DBS currently.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience supporting students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia).
