We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head of PE to lead and inspire a thriving department in a forward‑thinking secondary school in London. About the Role
- Lead, manage, and inspire the PE department, including staff mentoring and performance management
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3-5
- Develop a diverse and engaging curriculum that encourages participation and excellence
- Organise extracurricular sports, competitions, and events to enhance student experience
- Monitor student progress, support achievement, and promote a culture of high expectations
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven leadership experience within PE or a related role
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching PE across multiple key stages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for inspiring students and promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing
