Outstanding opportunity to join this famous, global law firm within their Finance function on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. The business is enhancing its global e‑invoicing and continuous transaction controls (CTC) capabilities, and we’re looking for an experienced Integration Specialist / Business Analyst to lead end‑to‑end delivery across multiple jurisdictions.
You’ll work at the intersection of Finance, Tax, and Technology, shaping requirements, data models, mappings, integrations, testing, and rollout for country‑specific e‑invoicing and e‑reporting mandates.
What you’ll do:
- Lead requirements, process mapping, and data analysis for AP/AR, tax, and reporting flows
- Build canonical data models and field‑level mappings (JSON/XML, UBL, PEPPOL, country schemas)
- Define integration specs, transformation rules, validation logic, and error handling
- Support architecture on retries, idempotency, monitoring, and operational controls
- Translate jurisdictional mandates into implementable technical requirements
- Drive pilots, cutover, hypercare, and compliance documentation
- Own test strategy, payload creation, schema validation, and UAT
- Produce runbooks, training, dashboards, and BAU handover materials
What you’ll bring:
- Strong track record delivering e‑invoicing/CTC solutions across multiple countries
- Hands‑on experience with REST/JSON APIs, XML/UBL, file/batch integrations, and iPaaS (MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.)
- Data modelling, JSON/XML mapping, OpenAPI/Swagger, XSD/JSON Schema
- Solid SQL skills for reconciliation and data exploration
- Experience with any of the following PMS/ERP (Elite 3E, Aderant, SAP, Oracle), tax engines, or e‑invoicing gateways
- Deep understanding of AP/AR, invoice lifecycle, VAT/GST, and financial controls
- Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- 7+ years in BA/Integration roles, ideally within e‑invoicing/CTC programmes
£75k-£85k + bonus + benefits. London (City) & 40% remote. 12-month fixed term contract.
