Senior OpenSearch Developer – C#, .Net, AWS OpenSearch, Terraform – OUTSIDE IR35
This is a contract opportunity with Smart Sourcer for a senior developer who will work on greenfield AWS OpenSearch development within a cloud-native, B2B SaaS environment. The role emphasizes real-time OpenSearch processing, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices as part of an AI-enabled initiative.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AWS OpenSearch based services that can handle large-scale search queries in C#.
- Develop and optimize AWS OpenSearch real-time processing capabilities.
- Migrate multi-table database searches to OpenSearch solutions.
- Architect and deploy infrastructure using IaC (Terraform or AWS CDK).
- Leverage AWS cloud-native technologies to ensure scalability and reliability (e.g., Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SQS).
- Ensure robust integration between search services and core platforms.
- Apply strong knowledge of distributed systems, performance optimization, and scalable architectures.
Qualifications
- Experience leading the design and implementation of AWS OpenSearch based services in C#.
- Experience with AWS OpenSearch real-time processing.
- Experience migrating complex search workloads to OpenSearch.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CDK).
