Outstanding opportunity to join a global retailer embarking on a major multi-year transformation of its global supply chain and building a modern, scalable warehouse & logistics platform to be deployed across all distribution centres. We’re looking for a WMS Solution Architect with deep experience ideally in Blue Yonder (other WMS platforms considered) to shape, design, and guide the rollout.
This is not a configuration role; it’s a strategic architecture position requiring someone who can influence design decisions, negotiate changes with adjacent systems, and ensure the WMS footprint integrates cleanly across a complex enterprise landscape.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Leading solution architecture for Blue Yonder WMS as the first phase of a multi-year logistics transformation.
- Designing a scalable, repeatable platform to be deployed across all depots.
- Working across business and technology teams to define end-to-end processes and integration patterns.
- Assessing and negotiating changes with upstream/downstream systems (ERP, OMS, transport, automation, etc.).
- Providing architectural governance, standards, and best practice for Manhattan suite implementations.
- Ensuring the platform is robust, future-proof, and aligned to global operating model.
- Extensive hands-on experience with the WMS products.
- Proven background designing and delivering large scale WMS implementations in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, automation, and logistics processes.
- Ability to work across multiple systems and negotiate architectural changes with other product owners.
- Experience designing multi-site, repeatable deployment patterns.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
£650 per day Inside IR35. 6 months rolling. Central London & 75% remote.
