You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to design architectures that are robust, modern, and ready to scale.
What You’ll Lead:
- End‑to‑end solution architecture across digital, commercial, and operational domains
- Design of customer‑facing and colleague‑facing applications across retail, travel, or hospitality journeys
- High‑level and low‑level designs that guide engineering teams with clarity and direction
- Integration patterns across booking, payments, loyalty, POS, supply chain, and in‑store systems
- Architecture governance, technical assurance, and alignment to enterprise standards
- Collaboration with cross‑functional squads (Product Owners, BAs, Engineers, UX) to drive delivery outcomes
What You Bring:
- Strong background in retail, travel, or hospitality technology ecosystems
- Experience designing solutions for high‑volume customer journeys (e.g., booking, check‑in, e‑commerce, POS, loyalty, fulfilment)
- Ability to work hands‑on with engineering teams, shaping designs that are practical, scalable, and delivery‑ready
- Strong understanding of cloud‑native architectures, APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
- Comfortable operating as a tech lead / agile architect within delivery squads
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- A degree in Computer Science (2:1 or above)
- A willingness to travel 1-2 days per week (the rest remote)
