A standout contract opportunity with a global, market-leading B2B SaaS organisation undergoing rapid evolution in cloud, AI adoption, and modern engineering practices. Were expanding our UK DevOps function and looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who can hit the ground running , operate with high autonomy , and communicate with clarity and confidence across technical and non-technical teams.
What Youll Be Doing:
Youll be a key contributor in designing, delivering, and supporting the cloud foundations that power our products and internal platforms, with a strong focus on Python and TypeScript based AWS serverless engineering , event-driven architectures , and modern identity patterns . Youll be expected to work with seniority from day one, owning problems end-to-end and driving solutions proactively.
Designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient AWS serverless infrastructure
Developing automation, tooling, and workflow orchestration using Python and TypeScript
Implementing complex workflows using AWS Step Functions, Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB Streams, and API Gateway
Building and maintaining IaC using AWS CDK , Terraform , and Pulumi
Implementing modern identity and access patterns including OpenID Connect (OIDC) , IAM roles , and fine-grained permission boundaries
Enhancing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Collaborating effectively with engineering, product, and security teams; communicating decisions, trade-offs, and risks with clarity
