Working within the Technology team you’ll act as the primary technology partner to Marketing. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of digital platforms, data, optimisation and governance, ideal for someone who thrives in a modern, multi‑platform marketing environment and wants to shape how a respected national organisation engages its members and audiences.

You’ll report to the Head of Technology and work in close partnership with the Head of Marketing, ensuring our websites, CRM‑connected tools, analytics, SEO and AI‑enabled capabilities are robust, integrated and future‑ready. You’ll own the technical enablement of all marketing‑related digital platforms. You’ll ensure our website, CRM, analytics stack, optimisation tools and AI‑driven capabilities work seamlessly together, are well‑governed, and align with wider technology, data and cyber standards.

What you’ll lead:

  • Technology partnership with Marketing
    • Act as the primary technology contact for the Marketing function
    • Translate marketing objectives into effective, scalable technical solutions
    • Enable Marketing to operate confidently while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
  • Ownership of marketing platforms & tools
    • Oversee website platforms, domains and related digital services
    • Manage CRM‑connected marketing tools and integrations (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics 365)
    • Lead on analytics, optimisation, testing and personalisation platforms
    • Oversee SEO tooling and AI‑enabled marketing capabilities
    • Support chatbots, mentoring platforms and other digital engagement tools
  • Website, CRM & platform integration
    • Ensure seamless interaction between website, CRM and marketing systems
    • Manage supplier relationships and delivery across web and digital platforms
    • Maintain reliable data flows, tracking, tagging and user journeys
    • Work with internal specialists and suppliers to ensure cohesive integration
    • Create and maintain page templates and structures for efficient publishing
    • Coordinate technical changes, enhancements and fixes
    • Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, usability and measurement
  • Governance, compliance & assurance
    • Work with Data, Cyber and Technology teams to ensure GDPR, PECR and Data Protection compliance
    • Ensure analytics and data collection are accurate, appropriate and well‑governed
    • Support responsible adoption of new tools, including AI‑based capabilities
    • Build strong relationships across Marketing, Technology, Data and Cyber
    • Engage with third‑party vendors to support delivery and optimisation
    • Ensure supplier solutions align with internal standards and agreed ways of working

Required experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience with CRM, web, digital or marketing technology platforms
  • Strong familiarity with analytics, optimisation, SEO and data‑driven marketing
  • Experience working within environments with data protection and cyber security requirements
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, accountable mindset
  • Confident communicator across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Line management experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in chartered bodies, advocacy organisations or leadership networks is advantageous
