Outstanding opportunity to join this rapidly expanding consultancy's Integration Practice on a permanent basis. We're looking for a hands-on IBM webMethods Integration Consultant to design and deliver secure, governed, observable integrations across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, SaaS). You'll lead client workshops, shape solution designs, and accelerate delivery using AI-enabled practices.
What You'll Do:
- Lead discovery/design workshops and produce high-quality integration artefacts.
- Design & build integrations using webMethods IS, API Gateway, UM, TN, and webMethods.io.
- Apply AI co-pilots/agents for service scaffolding, mapping, testing, and runbooks.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, and modern release strategies (blue/green, canary).
- Strengthen operations with performance tuning, resiliency patterns, and observability dashboards.
- Govern APIs (authN/Z, rate limiting, threat protection) and manage lifecycle.
What You Bring:
- 3-5+ years in integration, including 3+ with webMethods.
- Strong hybrid integration design across APIs, events, B2B/EDI, MFT.
- Confident customer-facing communication and workshop leadership.
- Solid grounding in security (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, cert lifecycle).
- Automation mindset: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, release orchestration.
- Data formats & mapping: JSON, XML/XSD, EDI, IDoc.
- Cloud/network fundamentals for hybrid connectivity.
Nice to Have:
- IBM Integration ecosystem exposure (TechXchange, User Groups).
- Migration experience (legacy/MuleSoft to webMethods).
- AI in integration (GenAI co-pilots, agent frameworks, anomaly detection).
- Dashboarding/observability for APIs/B2B/IS.

- Hybrid/remote, with on-site workshops across the UK & Ireland (occasional EU travel).
