Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK
  • Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and overall observability
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and preventative engineering
  • Automate operational toil to free up engineering time
  • Enhance SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical services
  • Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to improve release stability
  • Drive disaster recovery and business continuity improvements and reliability initiatives
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance testing
