We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Senior UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer with a genuine 50:50 combination of design (Figma, Adobe) and development (JavaScript, React) experience to join a team building a highly innovative, mobile first, AI powered SaaS product. You will design and develop user interfaces for both a cloud-based SaaS platform and mobile app, which will streamline complex legal workflows and enhance document automation. Your work will directly shape the user experience ensuring the product is intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging.
Required Skills & Experience:- Strong creative background in UI/UX mobile design with Figma, Balsamiq & Adobe backed up with a portfolio of work for blue chip organisations
- Strong front-end development skills with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML & CSS and confident in a position requiring 50% complex frontend coding
- Some exposure to and interest in backend development & integration with C#
- Experience with SaaS & mobile product development and cloud-based deployment (ideally Azure)
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- A willingness to work 30% in office & 70% remote
- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces for a global SaaS / mobile platform in a fast-paced setting with minimal iterations
- Develop front-end components using JavaScript, React, Typescript, HTML & CSS within a .NET environment.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and end-users to translate requirements into elegant UI solutions.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback from legal professionals.
- Ensure design consistency across platforms and adherence to WCAG accessibility standards.
- Work closely with backend developers (C#, Azure) to integrate APIs and services securely and efficiently i.e. pick up some C# coding yourself
- Maintain design documentation and UI component libraries for scalability and reuse.
£75k-£85k + 10% bonus + outstanding benefits. City of London.
