HGV Class 2 Skip Driver

Pay Rate: £14.92 per hour

Shifts:
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 4:45pm
- 1 in every 2 Saturdays: 6:00am – 11:00am

Smart Solutions are recruiting a Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of a well‑established and growing independent waste management company based in Wolverhampton. Whether you're an experienced Skip Driver or an HGV Class 2 Driver looking to learn a new skill, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with long‑term job security, a dedicated vehicle and full training provided. No previous skip experience is required – full training will be given.

The Role
- Safely operate a Class 2 skip vehicle
- Deliver and collect skips from commercial and domestic customers
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Complete all required paperwork accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Follow all transport, health and safety and company procedures
Requirements
- Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Minimum 2 years HGV driving experience (insurance requirement)
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
