We are seeking an Assembly, Test & Quality Inspector to join our precision engineering manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, varied role combining assembly, testing, and quality inspection of electromechanical components.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are assembled, tested, and inspected to the highest standards, supporting production output and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out quality inspections on components and finished assemblies
- Assemble electromechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform functional and electrical testing of assemblies
- Use digital multimeters to measure resistance, voltage, and current (preferred but not essential)
- Operate inspection equipment including micrometers and digital calipers
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Perform fine soldering work where required (advantageous but not essential)
- Accurately record inspection and test results in line with quality procedures
- Support compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards
- Background in engineering or manufacturing
- Experience in assembly, inspection, or testing of mechanical or electrical components
- Confident using hand tools and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
- Able to work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with electromechanical or electromagnetic products
- Electrical testing experience using digital meters
- Fine soldering experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
