Smart Solutions Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our team in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, safety‑focused drivers who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a supportive crew. You’ll be responsible for the safe operation of a refuse collection vehicle, working with loaders to complete daily collection routes across the area.
Responsibilities- Driving a Class 2 dustcart on planned waste collection rounds
- Ensuring the safe operation of the vehicle at all times
- Working alongside a team of loaders
- Carrying out vehicle checks in line with company and legal standards
- Providing excellent service to local residents
- Adhering to all health & safety and road regulations
- You must hold the following valid licences:
- Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Tachograph (Digital Tacho) Card
- CPC Qualification Card
- Competitive hourly rate
- Enhanced overtime pay
- Stable, long‑term work
- Friendly team environment
- Full training provided
