Job Description:
The main task is to move up to 10 trucks a day from parking bays to the vehicle wash area. This includes reversing up the wash ramp or parking in the wash bay for cleaning, then returning vehicles to their parking bays once washed. Please note: You will not be required to wash the trucks — only to drive them to and from the wash bay.
Responsibilities:
- Safely move and position vehicles around the site.
- Perform vehicle safety checks before and after use.
- Follow all safety and site regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Report any vehicle or site issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 License (essential)
- Previous experience as a shunter driver is preferred.
- Good awareness of safety and yard procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Litter picking part of the role.
