The Role

  • Safely operate Class 2 vehicles collecting and transporting commercial waste.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Provide excellent customer service at collection points.
  • Ensure collection areas are left clean and tidy.
  • Complete waste transfer documentation using tablet technology.
  • Comply with all drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
  • Driver CPC Qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous HGV driving experience.
  • Waste industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
