Smart Solutions are recruiting for experienced 360 Grab Operatives to join a waste management company at a busy waste management site in Salford. This is a hands-on, full-time role within a fast-paced recycling environment, offering strong overtime potential and stable hours.
The Role:
- Operating a 360 grab machine safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading waste materials
- Moving and segregating waste in line with environmental regulations
- Carrying out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Supporting site teams to ensure smooth operations
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in waste, recycling, aggregates, or construction environments.
Pay & Overtime:
- £14.40 per hour
- Time and a third (1.33x) after 45 hours
- Saturday – 1.5x rate
- Sunday – 2x rate
- Bank Holidays – 2x rate
- £25 per day shift allowance when covering late shifts
- Plenty of overtime available for those looking to increase earnings.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 6:00am – 5:00pm
- Flexibility required to cover late shifts when needed
Requirements:
- Valid 360 Grab license (NPORS or CPCS, in date)
- Previous grab operating experience
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player with a good work ethic
