Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour (paid weekly, every Friday)

Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm

Shift Pattern: 4 days on (06:00 – 18:00), 2 days off, 4 nights on (18:00 – 06:00), 6 days off

About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Operator to join a leading waste management company based in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation where your skills will contribute to efficient site performance and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate mobile plant machinery during daily operations
  • Monitor machinery to ensure optimum performance and efficiency
  • Load, unload, and sort waste materials, including skips and conveyor systems
  • Work alongside delivery vehicles to manage incoming and outgoing waste
  • Collect and move waste materials across site
  • Take material samples when required
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly
  • Maintain a clean and organised yard environment

Requirements:

  • Valid licence for Loading Shovel, Telehandler, or 360 Grab Material Handler (essential)
  • Previous experience in waste, recycling, or industrial environments (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
