Job location: Ufton, CV33 area
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 07:00-17:00 | 47.5 hours Monday to Friday 9.5 hours daily | Saturday (07:00-16:00) or Sunday (08:00-16:00) as required
Experience Required:
- Experienced Machine Operator who has worked at a Composting Processing Facility
Loading Shovel Driver - Duties & Responsibilities:
- The role involves operating a loading shovel to perform a variety of tasks, including tipping and loading of vehicles outside in all weather conditions.
- Drive a loading shovel to transport materials within the facility and ensure the health and safety standards are met.
- Operating a loading shovel
- Loading arctic vehicles with a shovel
- Loading Collection Vehicles
- Loading Tunnels, Shredders, Screeners, and other duties associated with the composting process
- Maintaining mobile plant i.e. greasing/cleaning
Loading Shovel Driver - Person Specification:
- Valid Wheeled Loading Shovel
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Previous experience within a waste and recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
